Used local map-tiles tools ?

Topic for me* to see if I can collect some information.
*) Although it also might be useful to some others. But that's up to them.

(Not getting my hopes up, but not asked is not tried at all. (cq: instant fail on me))

Topic for others to write about the tools they use in relation to the HnH (and Salem I guess to) client saved map/tiles.
- The tools you use, and what there doing. (additional link, if you got them, appreciated.)
- The pro's on those tools. (as you see it)
- The con's on those tools. (as you see it)
- Other related stuff on you mind in relation to HnH map/tile tools.

i still use mainly soos mapmerger 3.1

pros
simple and fast - enough for my needs
create folder drop map subfolders in - mapmerger too - run it - drop map.html and currentsession.js in merged folder and edit

cons
depends on google maps and being online for opening in browser Tab
never managed to get real huge maps - so i have to screenshot and stitch manually

Edit: forgot Tav's tilezoomcreator - for getting zoomable maps

oh yes Mernil - forgot totally to test your latest from August - shame on me - will do the next days
