Hello

Postby lordpenquin » Tue Dec 01, 2009 2:47 pm

Hello. I just want to thank the developers for making such an enchanting game. I never thought a wilderness survival game could be so fun. There's no quests, no 10 rats to kill, and none of the boring stuff from wow. It's just you alone against the wilderness. I met a few folks along my travels that helped me. One gave me the necessary items so I could finally fish so at least I won't starve to death while I fine a claim for myself and start making my own food. Thank you for that. Teach a man to fish...

I'm looking forward to making my own farm and finally making a name for myself instead of barely surviving like I am now.

See you all later.

My only request would be a global chat box, unless this is a "feature" to make the game make you feel more isolated.

Hi I'm Wisp.
There is a global chat box you can access by pressing Ctrl+C but nobody is ever in it.

Welcome to the game. Hope you enjoy it and become a contributing member of the community :D

Glad you're getting on well. One word of advice: Settle near an apple tree. Fish are all good and sound, but it takes a lot more work to get them, whereas apples are an infinite supply of crunchy goodness that can sustain you until you get a wheat farm and an oven up and running.

Other than that, have fun.

You may want to put a claim over an apple tree incase anyone cuts it down.

Welcome to the hearth, good sir.
I'm glad there are others who can get the same amazement and awe that I once got from this game. :D
