It's unfortunate but considering what kind of a nightmare rollercoaster 4chan has been to run, I'm glad he stuck with it for so long. Imagine being a 17 year old with the FBI contacting you about the exchange of child pornography on your website, and then being thousands of dollars in debt that same year from server costs with no real solution in sight. Imagine trying to get jobs, deal with college, and put together a life when there are hundreds of millions of people that see you and go "Hey, you're the guy who made 4chan, fuck you."

Godspeed moot, I wish you the best in all of your future projects in life.
