Personally I think it's going to be different enough to call World 1 but 4 years down the road it'll get confusing as to which World 3 or 4 you are talking about.

Simple just come up with interesting new names for each of the new worlds.

Like Avalon or Excalis, etc. Something that has a fantasy sounding theme to it.

Thread takes new form. Can we prepare the wiki for w8? DF's wiki has a different page version for each major update, we should do the same per world.

The wiki is operated, edited, and maintained by users, so if you wish to make changes to it then start a discussion either on the wiki or on these forums about proposed changes and work towards them. Ultimately it will be as accessible and informative as we want to make it. =)

Quietust is an internet god and I think he does nothing but eat, drink, and breath DF.

Seriously, though, would like to be privvy to a discussion, even if just to follow along. PM me if whoever is running it would like to invite me. No biggy if I don't get invited as I've not been big on doing a lot of the core work in what makes a good wiki, just updating things as they need it.
