No, it is just a li'l experiment, as I said. You are, however, very free to offer your thoughts on it, so maybe this thread can serve as a place for that.
The experiment relates to lag compensation -- that is, not lag elimination, but compensation. The hope and intention is that it make smaller instances lag "disappear" by compensating for them later, so as to only be noticeable for events happening in that very instant. Please tell me if you feel it made anything better or not.
