Hey, I just found about this game and I liked the general idea very much . I think the permanent death makes the game very interesting. I also like the idea of resetting everything each year, and I'm glad to see that there will be a major update on August or something? (although I wonder how are the developers doing all these for free? they must make money too!)

Anyways, my main problem at the moment is that I'm lonely . I traveled all over for an hour and I haven't met any person (I can understand why).

So, is there a village for noobs or something? I know that requests for villages are made to another section. I'm just asking what noobs like me must do to interact/ work with other people. I understand that the game isn't very friendly to new players, but I hope I will figure it out sometime Although I probably won't play much these days because of exams.

World resets when devs say so. It might be once a month or once a ten years. Theres no specific time how long worlds live.

Not really. There'll be another server for a period of time until they're satisfied that the server is stable and mechanics have been developed enough to shut down the old server (or enough people abandon it it isn't worth the time of maintenance). Consider this a world reset due to the latter condition--incompatible mechanics changes.

The game world is extremely large. It isn't uncommon to bump into only 1-2 others in a couple of weeks,and they may not be friendly.

Maybe you should have quit on the subject while you where ahead.
Its up to dev's. And your preference on that subject is, well ... completely irrelevant.

To combat your lonely problem. Mmm ... I'm not sure.
One way would be to set your Characters HS (Hearth Secret), and post it here. Although that also could backfire, but you would definitely (well probably) not be lonely anymore.

I have a few friends that have alts there and so far, so good - just bear in mind that previous attempts at this always end the same way with raids and multiple deaths, lol, but it is still a fun way to meet others and experience working together and maybe find a group you can join in a safer setting.
