So I was out foraging on a mudflat, and I've found something quite odd. There's this big farmstead with no claim on it, and it's active - Crops are still growing, not much decay, heck there's still shit drying on the racks. I decide, hey why not, let's loot it. Most of the stuff is junk, and then oh look, this:


Now you see, back in my day, people would actually y'know, atleast build a claim and a palisade before they even started thinking about leaving metal or anything of value in the cupboards.

Poor guy. Metal is one of the more difficult milestones when starting out.

Just so we're clear, I'm not a total monster. Usually what I do before anything is leave a great big rune stone that basically says "Hi if I robbed you please talk to me within a week HS is ______".

I don't use the stuff until then, because you'd be surprised how many people actually respond and it's usually not that big of a deal. Heck, all I have to do for metal is get an industry alt up and going so I don't need the metal desperately anyways.
