Mini-map is in simplified view even though its not selected

When I log in the map is in its simplified view even though I haven't selected that option, I've checked.
So what could be causing this and is there an easy fix for it and does it happen to anyone else too?

And, it happens sometimes, though I forget the reason why ....... technical stuff ......

It happens to everyone tho it doesn't affect my gameplay very much,just i don't see houses on the minimap

Edit:Meant to say i don't see houses,cliffs and other details like that on the minimap

Well for me I don't seen tress, houses and cliffs on my minimap

Seriously, what idiot designed this stupid minimap system? It keeps running out of disk space constantly. ^^
