Map (second tier)

Postby dcastello79 » Mon Dec 07, 2009 1:31 am

My friend told me that the map extends beyond the limits represented in the maplib, which he told me was called the "second tier." I was just curious how large the map really is...and how much is actually explored/settled...(not looking for an exact answer--just some educated guesses).

It's much larger than the maplib

The maplib only shows one supergrid. There are... what, 16? I dunno, I'm not reliable on that sorta stuff. I've never been off of the main one.

Edit:

500th post.

I've been told there are at least 3 tiers, and I heard once that there are 25 supergrids. I don't really know how accurate this is, but you can be sure there is a lot more space in this game than there needs to be. (not that that's a bad thing)

There is three complete 'tiers' of supergrids at this point. (ie 5x5) Which as catfish said is 25.
Awhile ago there was two tiers plus like 3 of the third tier, so that's where some of the confusion comes from.

None are settled like the main one is settled. The most heavily populated is the eastern supergrid, which Xanadu claimed.

They settled the entire supergrid? And what about the other supergrids?

the goons claim at least one supergrid in the west or southwest as the goon nation. i know we have one non-goon living within our area. we like him. everyone else keep out.
