Don't know why people think the world is about to end. It might die from lack of players, but then a lot of people are likely to spend a couple hours on w8 and decide there's not enough content or it too borked and they'll be right back to w7 (until it actually is shut down).

I think it's because a new version of the game is coming out, and the people assuming it's treated as a "world", following a pattern the previous world gets deleted.

But yeah nothing's ending.
