any 1 up for a challenge of going to mordor with a few people and setting up a new village? Id tag along no bother.just bring as much high quality stuff with ye as ye can.
We could first make a small base to keep out the high lvl animals etc than concentrate on getting our farm set up or we could just hunt bears.

Mordor is, generically, anywhere that is not settled. It's used to refer to wilderness where the strongest (level X) animals spawn. Village Idols, Hearth Fires, Cabins and the Ring of Brodgar all increase the civilization level, which makes nearby animals weaker.
Come back two hours earlier.

if you have a hearthfire there its no longer mordor, so youre not living in there...

yeah it used to be the parts with lvlX animals. nowadays, everything is the highest level, with civilisation (hearthfires, cabins, villages) repelling it. so technically, either mordor is everywhere without civilisation, or theres no mordor anymore.
anyways, what he wanted to do is travell deep into the wilderness, and i can only encourage you to do so! its fun, especially for newer chars... ADVENTURE!
