If world is as "small" as on w7 you will probably find somone very fast indeed.

Here's hoping it's as large as World 3, or larger.

Bring anew the harp of Joyance,
Bring again the golden moonlight,
Bring again the silver sunshine,
Peace and plenty to the Hearthland."

I guess...

Brodgar?

I might start making a road so people can follow it and find me.

Seriously though, it sure would be nice if we get some extra game support for making and managing actual settlements and kingdoms. I'd just like to have a little business in a kingdom and sell pies or something.

EDIT: mmmmm... pies...

Probably wander around and help whoever I meet first, and explore the game in general.
W3 to W6 - Blockland. Special mentions: New Avalon, Tarn of Hotdog, Red October.
W7 - Elvenia, til we all got lazy.
W8 - Cult of R'lyeh, til the deeps called us back.
W9 - Tartarus, til death/wizards came for the land itself.
W10 - ???, ruined and forgotten.

What are your strategy to tackle this new dynamic? Do you have one?

I will probably stick with other players I meet and try to band up as soon as possible, instead of avoiding other players like I used to. Since now you can't farm with alts you can't get every aspect or resources by yourself and management is hard you might end up with more fish than wood or vice versa so other players might have what you need. The faster you band up and gain more local friends the better!

Of course this is just a hypothesis in reality we might be killing each other more brutally and avoiding each other even more, but let me know what do you think?

Hit ant hills fast and hard like a fat sorority chick in a frat house. Raise explore, find Flotsums..... GET PAID

you'd think that you would know how to spell flotsam by now

I'm using the British spelling.

Shit, you found me out. let me call my guy who knows about indie games...... he'll be able to tell if this is a legitimate copy of Battletoads for Xbox-One.

My initial survival strategy is to rely on the undoubtedly laggy and crash prone server to kick me offline often enough that there is no possible way that I can come to harm.
