What's the problem? We post and advertise other survival sandbox games on these forums all of the time. Other forums operate similarly; most of us came from the dorf fort forums or some other game. If your problem is the timing, blame the ARK devs for not coordinating with JLo. =)

As for optimization issues, I'm in the same boat as Jackard. When the game launched I was running everything on low settings and getting about 10-15fps. Now I'm running at high-epic on most settings and I'm at 60fps except for when I enter caves and there are more performance improvements on the way.

I thank you for keeping an open mind, TeckXKnight. I have recommended ARK before, but truly believe the opportunity presented by this free weekend made today the best time to start a thread.

As a warning, the extinction event servers will be a madhouse as everyone rushes for the free game vouchers. You'll probably have more fun on private servers where we're not all trying to beat you unconscious and harvest your blood and poop from a cage. I mean all of this in a very literal fashion. Blood bags are especially valuable.
