gruesome lag

I've been playing about a week now, and never experienced any real lag.
But now, suddenly, the game lags unplayable.. Is there a problem with the server today?

Fine for me. Changed any computer settings? My friend found H&H nearly unplayable on Windows 7, until he updated...something or other.

One of my friends has been having the same problem for the past FEW days/weeks on Vista. Normally he plays fine but now he has 2-3 seconds of it plus. I always have it though(Satellite internet

)

and hpmons, I have windows 7 and it's fine for me(with the exception of my lag from satinternet) without an update.

Hmmm. I run XP pro SP3.. I did update my anti-spyware (Spybot Search and Destroy) and my virus scanner (Avast!) today. For running my updated anti-spyware, I allowed it to delete temporary files... Could the problem lie there, and how to fix if it does?

EDIT: It seems I needed a reboot.. Lag is gone
