Survival Course 102

Since a large number of students complain about the sink or swim method of teaching survival in this game, for a limited time only registration for an alternative tutorial in H & H is now open!

Want to learn how to play but frustrated by your character starving to death and unable to find any resources or anyone to ask a question?

If you are a novice or near novice in the game and would like to start a brand new character and get some playing instruction I may be able to help. I cannot teach serious combat - I never learned and I can't give you access to valuable mines, weapons, metal and luxury goods like silk. I can help you figure out how to get enough food and how to grind up to where you can start to branch out onto your chosen path.

I am currently located in level X territory with a meadow, a river, both deciduous and coniferous forest and access to some basic farming seed. My hearth secret is "Monsieur". Feel free to use this hearth secret to join me here and to become my kin. When I am on playing I will be happy to answer questions and demonstrate things, and if you want, to give you detailed instructions in anything I know about the game.

I speak English and really, really lousy French, and am happy to work with people who have limited English skills. I normally play for about six hours a day, generally in H & H daylight. To Europeans I play in the late afternoon and early evening. To New England types I play in daytime and early evening. To California types I play in the morning and afternoon. That's when you can reasonably expect to see me on line.

If you have an individual questions feel free to pm me also.
