Though I'm glad to see the upsurge of players in the hopes it would also translate into more donatioins for J&L, the LAG is horribly bad. Maybe everyone should avoid recruiting more folks until the game can handle it. Things been almost unplayable since the rush of population..lol

There's a group near my wilderness alt that appeared a couple of days ago from Mortal Online. I've looked around and seen 15-20 hearth fires, maybe more.

I myself am from Mortal Online.. and let me tell 'ya.. we've been attracted to this game due to it's features and potential, which is why a crowd will keep forming to play this game.

I don't consider the current lag unplayable, just horrid. I still remember playing Team Fortress Classic on AOL. With a ping of 2000. Yes, 2000.

True I'm still trying to play, but at like a 85% reducuion in fun and 90% increase in frustration as it really is super serious lag. I am glad people find the game enticing, good sign (also a good sign not to change too much of the fundamentals..lol) but whew...the lag is amazingly serious compared to what I thought it would be, I expected a bit when I saw the rise, but not like this..lol

The only answer is to donate enough money to expand the server's capabilities. There's one obstacle though: you have to donate enough money that jorb and Loftar don't look at it and say "pheh, this won't do anything," then blow it on booze.
