Meh...typical elitist "if you don't like the new lube then dry hump or become a nun" jargon. I often get a giggle at this kind of response when players who've obviously been around long enought to at least have a right to state their feelings has another player act as though they haven't the right. I often wonder, why troll a thread and vomit on it when you by the very act admit you didn't care about the subject to begin with = "bigmouth attention cooz with a motor driven ass" who can't walk past a naval shipyard without flashing their tits while claiming to be a vestal virgin...whatever.
I had not read the "wyrd" thread until seeing this, I, having played for months now, agree with the OP. It's just a bunch of complicated shite that the majority will not be interested in. Again I'm always amazed when developers here and there on many games i've seen will so radically screw with something that already works reasonably in such a dramatic manner that it basically = "this isn't the game you were playing before the update, it's a new one" and then wonder why 90% of those who were playing leave. (Star wars galaxies being most notorious example of that kind of suicidal behavior) "marching crap instead of tele?...who the fuck has ever had a problem with tele and why? Replace the LP system (which many think is prefectly ok) with something else because "you should not have LP pools to distribute as you see fit, but sshould only get farming points for farming...yeah yeah oookayyy. So fine, what ya want to change it to? OH really? You want a Wyrd pool instead to get farming points from casting goofy spells or greeting a friend or knocking on doors?
So the "point pool" just has a name change and we have to run around doing dickhead spells instead of grinding on trees or farming or whatever? Sorry, <<< see's no difference at all, aside from of course exchanging cool build grinding with idiotic spell grinding.
Now I'm not saying the wyrd system as a side fun thing in the game is bad, sounds interesating if someone wants to "Wyrd out" and all. But using it as the "new game" to replace everything else? Not, I play H&H because of the H&H gameplay that exists. This new "Wyrding game" sounds like nothing I'd want to play.
PS: If it does go this way, please be a couple nice fellas and sell the original game to someone else so H&H can still exist for those who want to play it.
