i made a suggestion thread a while back, suggested you idiots disable being able to summon people through the hearth fires, now i read in some off forum that people have been in a "Scare" and have been waking up in the woods etc due to some either glitch/bug/exploit that is happening, and i also read that hearth fires have been disabled or something?

I read your letter with pure astonishment. You seem to be very misinformed so i figured it is upon me to enlighten you. You can spawn in the wilderness, if you start a new character. His hearthfire will spawn anywhere away from civilisation, and thus the character itself. However you can choose, if you want to start at a charterstone -there are 4 active at the moment- or at the hearthfire of your friend, or anywhere in the wild.
You can still summon people through their hearthfire, if they commited a crime and you tracked their scents. This has been forever so and didn't got changed in any way.
You see, hearthfires did not get disabled.
