I've been trapped in my plot

Postby 32012323 » Sat Mar 06, 2010 6:33 pm

I've had my gates sealed up by random griefers walking off the rivers in the area. The most frustrating thing is me and my neighbour have kept to ourselves, everything we have we've made ourselves so there was nothing warranting this.

All my hard work's done with a few minutes of LP grinding around my gate. Is there any way I can get out of this? I realize devs don't want to meddle with moderating the game as it offers us freedom to deal with situations as we see fit, but this is game ending. I have no reasonable way to get out of this unless somebody is willing to break the palisades in for me or log off until decay takes its toll, and even then what's to stop them coming back to do it again after they read this?

I have no idea, I suppose I have to start all over again, right?

Im pretty sure they dont allow this and will fix it for you if you PM Jorb or Loftar (dunno who)

To prevent this in the future make sure your claim covers the palisade.

Yeah send Jorb a PM, I'm sure he'll give you a hand.

Victim #5?
A few lp to extend your claim could have prevented this.

Thanks for the quick advice guys,

I've learned better than to leave my walls unclaimed as a result of this and I've messaged a dev to see what they can do.

Just pointing out that Jorb has already said he does not enjoy doing maintenance when he could be developing, especially on easily preventable bullshit like this.

Claim the area outside of your walls people.

I think it is endlessly sad people like jackard keep saying its easily avoidable, but it in fact is not. A griefer will not be stopped by a fucking claim, and thinking they would be is ignorant. All extending the claim would do for these people would make the griefer leave scents, which would be useless for the people who neither have the ability to knock down the wall nor track down the scents and enact justice.

A fist of jorb is not a reasonable deterrent as has been proven 5 times (most likely more) already. Its a worthless threat, and obviously just that. A threat.

You shouldn't be griping at the people forgetting to claim their palisade. You should gripe at the asshats who keep doing it.

you cannot build on unallied claims. therefore, you are incorrect by claiming that i am incorrect

His neighbor didn't get griefed.. obviously because his claim extends past his palisade..
