This picture was taken by Jorb on August 26, of 2009. When are wolves going to be implemented? I mean you've mentioned it in the forum viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4567, I dont suppose you could give a organized list of whats going to happen first and what your focusing on right now.

Edit: Also if you spend a few minutes and look at the screenshots that are linked at the homepage you can see things like eagles and cows on his screen from like, April of 2008.

oh yeah, i forgot about the ram. You're probably right in saying that the ram is what is being tinkered with.

Doubt it, they normally post an ingame message when they 'pause' for implementation... but we can hope.

I honestly wouldn't get your hopes up on wolves being implemented. They were made all the way back before the second world was created, yet they never appeared. If anything, they were kept out due to redundancy; just by looking at that very old screenshot, they just looked like a fox with a new picture and texture. I wouldn't mind it if they were implemented though. It would make mountain mines a lot more exciting, at least if they aggro'd you like bears.

All in all, don't get your hopes up. I think Jorb and Loftar would rather focus on a new creature than a retextured fox.

RETEXTURED FOX!?

Why you little...

The problem is AI, AI, and AI. Nothing else. The wolf is drawn from scratch as any new creature would be.

Make them spawn in packs. Give them aurochs AI. Let them break stuff like bears do.
