1, 47, 30. A little more than me. But not by much on melee. :P
The grumpiest tree you ever did see.

Character: Hamel, previously Chieftain of Ancient Bottleneck, a founding father of the Confederation of Bottleneck. Currently a hibernating soul.

I'd also like to throw my ring into the hat for Chieftan.

As a non citizen I believe I would be a great impartial arbitrator in all intra and inter settlement disputes.

I also would claim only a modest salary/tithe/taxation of 1 steel bar a day (in game day).

I also pledge, if I am elected, to dedicate the full administrative resources of bottleneck to ridding the roads of the rodent, chicken and in some limited situations, toad menace.

Let the carts run freely and let them run often!

VOTE TRAV - Make a difference.

With the recent shakeup in the Chieftain candidates, I have re-considered my vote.

I am still voting for Hamel for Chieftain.

---

Edit: Because of the extremely late withdrawal of one candidate and addition of two candidates for Chieftain, I will keep the polls open 24 hours longer than I had originally planned. So they close tomorrow, not today.

My lawmaker vote stays on Goran.

And my chieftan vote... is really hard. both candidates have their pro's and cons. after long internal discussion I'll have to go with Hamel, this is because of the levels of my experienced levelheaded-ness.

I do think adam has the advantage on other areas such as 'combat/enforcing-power' and spending more time in the game asfar as I can see.

With Owen out of the race, I now support Hamel for chieftain.

Ok, after the spate of crime last night, and with the possibility of the oath of allegiance I now think we should create the idol. If you see Hanuman on while playing, I will be happy to help with its construction, and can donate raw materials as well.

The polls have closed. The initial count is done.

In an amazing sweep, Goran Starodub received eleven out of eleven votes for the post of Lawspeaker.

Hamel received eight out of ten unspoiled votes for Chieftain. One vote was considered spoiled: Owen Quillion withdrew without changing his automatic self-vote from himself to another candidate.

Here's the voting record, listed with forum name as the voter, and player name as the candidate. (That was done for ease of bookkeeping.)

Potjeh : Goran Starodub
niltrias : Goran Starodub
Talvara : Goran Starodub
Adam- : Goran Starodub
Hamel : Goran Starodub
Relm : Goran Starodub
foboslc : Goran Starodub
WorkerDrone : Goran Starodub
grantyman : Goran Starodub
Curudan : Goran Starodub
Öx : Goran Starodub

KoE : Owen Quillion (WITHDRAWN)
Hamel : Hamel
WorkerDrone : Hamel
grantyman : Hamel
Curudan : Hamel
foboslc : Hamel
Öx : Hamel
Adam- : Adam-
theTrav : theTrav
Talvara : Hamel
Potjeh : Hamel

Retrospective: I think this went reasonably well. The voting went smoothly, the winners are clear, there weren't many hurt feelings.

I do think I should have restricted voting to those who consider themselves to be citizens of Bottleneck. That would have invalidated theTrav's self-vote, and possibly niltrias's vote.

I DEMAND A RECOUNT!

These electronic voting devices are known to contain flaws, and I demand that all non paper ballots be discounted!

I call corruption in the voting process! A full inquiry should be held!
