Post your: Lucky and/or Unlucky Experiences

It can be finding random items of value, somehow killing that bear or even getting a female cow on your first go.
Whatever it is, please take the time to post it so we all can have a good read.

In the first world about 2 weeks before the reset, I managed to find a chest full of lots of leather pieces which I made into leather armour and whatnot. Keep in mind there were like, barely any trees outside claims so getting leather was close to impossible for me. Yeah, that's what I believe to be my luckiest experience.

EDIT: Okay, you can post your bad luck experiences if you want to.
EDIT 2: Due to rollback, I now have 16 silkmoth eggs instead of 8.

During a servercrash I once dupe some silver and 8 lembas in world two.

My bad luck experience was when I had just woken up and Wayneville was under attack. I engaged hanuman in battle who was wielding a b12. He would have never ever been able to even hit me with that thing, but I still was so sleepy that I forgot to turn off combat meditation and turn on dodge (yes old combat system...good times). End of story, he two hit me into nirvana and the lag even prevented me from eating one of my lembas in between.

i made a char and it was in a stripped and barren place. i was alone, cold, hungry and confused/inexperienced but i wandered around when after a while i got lucky and found a boat to get out of the place. wandered randomly for 4hours before settling somewhere random

cause i settled where i did i encountered several people and places that would develop my hermit place into a full town with active people, several mines, a very high skilled farmer that would later join us cause we had numbers and we needed him for his skill(win win situation) and even found another town to trade with. while still remaining in a quiet peacefull place, all in less then 2 weeks. cause i randomly decided to settle in a place.

thats what id say is lucky

A nice man passing by my village who had just killed a bear decided to give me his straw basket full of the goodies he killed from the bear. ALL OF IT. :D

I was looking for a friend of mine. (he played the game once then never touched it again) when, in an attempt to go around the land via river, i ran into a couple of guys in the middle of nowhere. we talked for a bit and i decided to stay with them. my old settlement was nothing. so it was nice to find a place with food nearby and people who would lend me their plow.

Tamed two sheeples. One was male, one was female.

That's it, I did no more taming (forever) =v

Good luck experience: Discovering how to trap a bear in construction sign without breaking them accidentally .

Bad luck experience: Getting hit by 5 griefers in half a week who was deliberately exploiting.
