Is Ranging worth the LP? I have almost no combat skills, so if someone happened to steal from me and I found them, I probably couldn't kill them anyway.

If you have the spare LP just buy it. If not, it can wait. Be sure to grab it though once you start on producing silk, since it unlocks the recipes for some nice gear.

Oh. I've already discovered Sericulture, but I haven't gotten around to getting silkworms, which will likely take a while. I'm most worried about finding thieves and trespassers though. Is Ranging worth getting simply for finding people who have stolen from you?

Well, maybe if there's a guy who's got 1000 strength and 800 melee and will help you around with stuff...
