saw my first player today.

i had went to "sleep" so i could get some housechores done(funny how things revolve round trees and herbilist tables)

when i logged back in, here was some dude lookin around my piece of land. So he said "hi"and i said "hi, what ya be doin on me land."

at that point he stops talkin anyhoo i see another boat on my land, so I say "i see you brought your boat. which case i take it off me land and put it on unclaimed land. That joker takes my boat and sails north. So i'm like following him(boat chase cut scene) and then he up and dissiapears. i mean the boat is still in the middle of the water, but he's not in it anymore. so i got back down to my land to see if he took anything(nothing there really since i started last saturday) and then i went back to take a look at me boat(well his boat now since he took it) and it's gone too. now i was looking at the empty boat for bout 2 minutes. can one log off and then relog on a baot?

Yes. If you log out in a boat, you can relog into it.
Next time, when someone is that impolite, it might be a nice and friendly idea to destroy his boat, while he is logged out.

Get 50 constitution swim out board the boat sail it to shore get out and pick it up and destroy it, or follow him to his hearth site and go carry off his important stuff killing all trees and plowing over his farmland and plant stone in it's place then carve the big stones into runestones and taunt him. (If battle skills up to snuff, murder him in his sleep and then barricade his hearth fire.)
