Venting frustrations

Postby cardboard » Sun May 02, 2010 12:18 am

I am currently angry at haven and Hearth frist of all because I am one of those people who get angry at video games (I don't yell though) so I will vent my frustrations in the forums while that annoying boar ponders whether or not to leave my camp. That is the first thing I am angry at boars for I now only have 22 hhp and I can't find any sheep and I lost ten of that health to leeches which never seem to help. Also there is the onions 4 of my WWWs have turned into onions (if anyone can explain this phenomenon, please, but as far as I know it is magic) which really makes me angry because I don't like wandering the forest too much anymore because of the boars that tend to hide behind rocks and trees. I also need wheat for straw which would help me a lot because of the straw and how many opportunities it will present bye.

Eh once u get some walls and some crops set up it gets better, just make some cheap gate traps for annoying critters (or fence yourself) and kite em to it. Most likely reason with the WWW u found em in the same area, think they change somewhere around the area of a minimap or so. Lol I had nothing but hops for a long time, stupid hops.

  • Grab a sling for the boars, head to wiki, look at how to kick their asses, 10 points in Marksmanship, a sling, and some rocks and you'll be fine, just BEFORE you see boars, every few screeens, build a partly made 'pen' that you can run into in case of boar attack. Soon enough you'll have more boarmeat than you can handle.
  • WWW have a chance to turn into many things, including 'carrots', 'onions', 'peapods', all of wihch are NOT seeds. :P
  • If you want sheep head to grassland. Clovers seem easier to find there than in Hearth, but I might be crazy. We find a whole bunch and always have too much wool. (To the point where we use yarn as string now :|)
  • If you need leeches, make sure you only use a FEW, and at higher HHP. since you're under 20 HHP, use bandages, or use one~two leeches at a time and give your HHP time to heal.
  • I made too many bullets.
  • Man, I shouldn't have made too many.

You do know its easier to kick boars asses with 20+ marks, because it takes too long with ten, even with foxes.
I trained on wabbits(give 8lp if you manage to kill them in 1 shot) first lol. Anyway, it took me 16 to be able to successfully kill foxes alone. How much more can he a boar alone?

I think that i'll just move to a grassland i found, but it has plenty of auroch, but no mouflon which kind of makes me angry, but I don't believe boars enjoy wandering into grasslands. Things kind of better but this post was meant to funnel all kinds of angry people into scope not advice. Geez guys yer such bullies. :o

leeches have a small % chance to heal you, and a much larger % chance to suck your hp. good QL leeches have a higher % chance to heal you. although i donno if high q leeches even exist.

i've simply noticed that i was full red hp. I forget to remove leeches and i've lost hp (ok) but then i've saw that i miss some ORANGE hp (i mean that now i have some black free space). That's weird, leeches should just hit red, right?

Btw, i'm healing myself with leeches. i was just surprised that they have eat some of my permanent hp.
