Organized Hunts

Postby Thurrok » Mon May 10, 2010 8:21 am

Last time I was off trying to hunt down some animals without salvaging their remains, it came to me that there could be PVE hunting parties which would consist of 1-2 hi-lvl killers (doing it only for the lp) and an undefined number of non-combat people collecting what the big daddies leave in their wake. That way, everyone would profit, mid-tech resources would get less scarce and the Hearthlands would be a happier place for everyone. Atleast for noob communities/villages.

Any thoughts on this?

Most people don't want to do that kind of thing.
I mean, you do get quite a fair bit of LP from collecting and stuff, but really, why just collect crap all day long when you could be the one killing stuff?
Of course, not everyone can hunt from the start, but they certainly want to sooner or later.
