all mines discovered?!

Is there still a chance to find a mine or are all already discovered?
I´m prospecting now about 2 weeks and didn´t find anything even in the middle of nowhere.

Best places to look at are Mudflats, Mountains, and inside Caves.

If you'll excuse a newbie asking a possibly silly followup question:
Are those terrains the terrains in which mines are most often found, or the only terrains in which they're found? I don't think I've seen any definite answer on it, other than it being said that they're the most likely places to find them.

Haaa perhaps. Especially as hostile as grievers/macroers(haha nubbbbs, how little of a life do you have to have to macro in a game roflmao!) were acting towards mai tin mine.

Thx for the answer. Finaly i found a mine just 5 minutes after my post i got my first 1%
it was still a lot of work to get to the 100%, but im happy i had enough rustroot und have found many on my way

It´s a copper mine and i realy don´t know which supergrid it is. just travelled all around the world The only town i have seen on my way was "Beavertown" but after i have been there i still traveled around about 2-3 Hours in every direction
