Mysterious Man.. Abandoned Village.

Well... Today me and my friends found a old abandoned village full with Skeletons and stuff. Stuff rotten and decayed.
They told me about it and I went there as fast as I could, its abandoned, no claims. So I found a cabourd or however its spelled full with Seeds, ofcourse as being
a beginner off this game I filled my pockets with them and I headed and searched. I found claimed ground, I believed it was Abandoned but with a claim.
Off my horror I found a man, he had some armor and weapons on. I panicked and ran away, I had my party chat up so I didnt see who it was.

But later I saw ???: who are you?

Sounds like Ziegtrollaj, look in the 'map the world' thread i think and i you should see it just North-East like you said.
Edit: It was raided by the Russians so yeah, not the best place to venture

It was about a 5 Minute trip up the river from our place.
Well, we prietty much looted everything valuable from the un-claimed grounds(Everything was decaying.)
Grabbed a few seeds and a herbalist bench(We had no seeds or a Herbalist Bench)

Thanks for the info, I will tell my mates to not go there and explore because of the danger

Next time you panic and decide to bail you might want to travel to hearth instead of running away. He can still aggro you if you are on screen and can be clicked on. Also, if you do have some defensive abilities they seem to be negated by running.
