when you lose your domains on freehost sites, sometimes it will redirect to other websites for ad revenue.

there are about 10 other free hosts that redirect to that exact website. usually means suspended accounts.

I guess whenever the owner realizes it is down and attempts to get it back.

Considering what I'v heard of people having sent in maps over a month ago the owner probably quit and doesn't care (hence not paying for his domain this month).

Hopefully it'll come back up, if it doesn't, ah well. :/

.tk domains are given out for free. However they are not reserved. If somebody else wants to purchase a paid account with that domain, it is taken from you and given to them.

Therefore, a lot of these stupid advertisement sites will look around for high traffic free .tk sites, and then buy the rights to them and redirect the .tk site to their own normal website, thus generating hits when the previous users go to the site, and are redirected, and thus making them an income.

It's rather sneaky and underhanded, but it's going to be the way it goes unless the domain is purchased.
