A question about cavebulbs.

We all know what a cavebulb is, a radioactive cave grown plant thing that makes you glow, but if I wanted to search for them, are they like normal plants that spawn randomly in caves or do they only have a certain population in a single cave?


This is also a general discussion thing for just about anything related to cavebulbs.

I believe they would be like normal foragable plants that spawn just about anywhere...
It's just your perception and exploration that lets you see how many.

So does anyone really actually hunt for cavebulbs these days?

I have a warning to all of you! Cavebulbs are RADIOACTIVE and therefore should BY NO MEANS be consumed!

I have built a safe bunker to dispose of this threat once and for all, just give me all your cavebulbs and I shall bury them where they cannot do any more harm.
