I've written a few minor games as well, mostly in C and Python using
SDL (only 2D so far, but hey, who needs depth?).
Me and Loftar made a game together about 10 years ago, called "Kviden Fighters" or "kvidha" for short, which we've been meaning to
show you all some time.
It's basically a real time version of
Worms, but more incomplete, more unbalanced, more awesome and/or completely useless weapons.
It can be totally fun, though, if you have the right mindset. 'Out of the frying pan and into the fire' captures the soul of kvidha pretty well.
It's compiled and running under Linux now, but it was originally written for Windows (or DOS?), then ported with SDL, so it needs to be
ported back.
