Abandoned town full of nice stuff...

I don't know what to do about this one, so I'm asking you folks...

There's a neighboring town, population of which slowly kept decreasing until there was nobody left. It's got personal claims all over the place, therefore theft is a must, but it's filled to the brim with mid-q stuff and tons of food. I neither have the time nor the patience to browse through all of it, but it hurts to see all that loot slowly decaying and getting destroyed.
