Seriously though, I've lost two characters to boars baby guarding me and others. How far into the game do I have to be to start killing them?

Gotta tell you, once you get a bit of marksmanship, you can drop bears. With a sling. I've killed two to date with about 20 Marksmanship and a Q10 sling. And a third one after I got a way-better-sling and more marksmanship.

He pretty much broke all of my equipment. Most importantly, my shoes. I died on the way home from a thorn in the foot.
