IRC channel for H&H discussion, talk about anything H&H related.
irc://irc.synirc.net/Haven
We've even had the devs on multiple times to talk to people.

There is a global chat on Haven. Ctrl C.

If a 15-minute newb can't figure it out, it's not worth using.

If you live by that rule you'd never make it past building a heartfire. Most people don't know how to light a torch.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Luckily, you don't need a torch when you're above ground. Left-click move right-click interact is already annoying enough when most games are right-click move that making the game even MORE annoying is hardly a good thiing. Are you seriously saying "we shouldn't have an IRC channel because..." what? What, exactly? Because newbies don't KNOW about the chat channel, and we like the game being welcoming to newbies, and... you don't want that? You don't WANT us to make the game newbie-friendly?

Do you think newbies would head straight to the channel?

Also, what would you do if you have 2 mouse buttons. You need 1 to walk and one to interact.
I guess you could put it all behind one button. But is that what we need?

I'll probably join the IRC channel next time I'm on, unfortunately I don't tend to play for long periods these days (always so busy)
