I cant plant trees

I have the sprouted pot, i take it in my hand by left clicking on it
then i right click on the ground but nothing happens, pls help me

I have plant lore and farming
do i need any other skills ??

No, just take the pot, right click on the ground, wait a moment for the menu to come up, and select the only option there- plant.

Incidentally, this kind of thread should be in "How Do I?".

Also, you can only plant on grass and forest tiles, as far as I know.
