Feldspar = Stone?

I realize that feldspar is a stone, but I picked up some feldspar and then killed a boar with my sling and laid stone. I also had regular stones in my inventory, but now my feldspar is gone. I didn't realize it at the time, but can you use feldspar as regular stone? I figured that's where it went. Just wanted someone else to verify this, especially since I wasn't paying attention. I didn't drop it...I don't think...but just wanted to see if someone else can lay stone with it, shoot it, etc. I would do it myself but I haven't found any more feldspar recently. Thanks all!

full nature only has 50% chance of getting a feldspar when picking up, are you sure you actually got it?

Yes, I am full industry. I had two.

yes you can pave with feldspar, i assume you can use it as ammo as well.

Thank you both much. Thought maybe it was a bug. Guess I'll have to watch what I do when I have feldspar in my inventory!

Items are used in reverse order of picking up. Last in, First out.
So, when you pick up feldspar, drop some of your stones, and pick them up again, making them be used before the feldspar.

I assume at least, that this works with ammo the same as it does with other things.
