Mistakes.

I was just about to boat out to find some bears or boars to sling to death, when I clicked on my open inventory and onto the river. Sadly, I clicked on my claim's key, and it dropped into the water. With a sodden 'splosh' I'd lost access to my claim. I sat there staring at the screen, until I decided to build a ram.

So tell me; what was your biggest, stupidest, most regretful mistake you've made in this game?

Hm I think there was a similar thread once, because I remember posting: Not switching back from combat meditatin to dodge (old combat system) when engaging onionfighter and his B12...

Village was being besieged, and i made the mind numbingly stupid mistake of going out to meet someone obviously stronger than me in one on one combat. i was filled with arrows and promptly thrown down...

Logging in drunk on spotty hotel internet and proceeding to securely lock all away all my silver, valuable jewelry, steel, and ... keyring ... in my strongbox. There it sits to this day, full of a fair spot of treasure in the middle of the wilderness

thought it would be safe to leave a wicker basket of crappy iron bars unwalled for one day.

Harvesting alot of branches and setting them on the floor where I live thinking it would stay there for a long time. After they disappeared then realized branches take a while to respawn and now have to travel farther to get more. =(
