Question to Devs - Map Reset

Any clue how long it will be until the map reset? days? weeks? months?

[Edit - and how much advance warning will we be given? That will be especially important for less frequent players, if we are going to be allowed to bring our inventories with us - what I'd take to a new world is not what I'd normally carry for daily use.]

A couple weeks ago Jorb chose "month ish" out of 3 options he was given. 1) weeks 2) Month ish 3) months
I hope it's accurate. :D

It's at least five or six dev sessions away by my estimates. ~2-3 weeks, minimum. We'll let you know before it happens.

At least we're forewarned.

I only think two things needed then. Seeds and tools. Unless the devs decide to make a town ark (Which would be nice by the way) for things like wine barrels/racks and such.

That sound about right to me too. The question will be which tools, and in what proportions.

I don't see why anyone needs anything during the transition. That almost defeats the purpose.

I'm guessing that by the time the reset is made, all of these tools / structures (e.g. mines) should be player craftable and reasonably difficult to make.

I think you're missing the point. The map reset is NOT to mess with balance issues. It's simply so the devs can implement new things that they can't with the map the way it is right now.
