When in the near or far future the world gets reset will my character also get reset?

I hope i get reseted to 0 with a more stable connection, i already quitted due lost of shits on a boat when the shits disconnects.

The transition from world 1 to world 2 did not reset characters.
The transition from world 2 to world 3 (our present world) *did* reset characters as well.

I do think, next map reset, will reset characters as well.
Learn to cope with it already.

There's been nothing to suggest that...

Basically characters get re-set when Jorb and Loftar want them to happen.

The last one happened because
a) There was a lot of corrupt data floating around from a really early bug in the quality system that was pissing them off
b) They thought (correctly) that it would be fun to mix up the old stale system a bit

I predict the next one will happen when they replace LP with a new mechanic, as migrating the currently earned LP won't really give them a good idea of how well the new system works (earning LP without infrastructure is VASTLY different from earning it when you're still bootstrapping yourself up from the ground)

I hope so! Then we can get some cooler stuff happening with more players. Founding larger cities, finding better stuff that isn't already claimed, etc.

Only problem is, I sort of live off the waste that people abandon, i.e. wood that's already chopped down, baskets in the middle of the wilderness, abandoned towns that are on the verge of vanishing due to decay.

If you were IN the boat, you can re-log back into the boat. If you were holding a boat.. lol
