Ghost Towns

I've been exploring the area around me and found what appears to be 2 ghost towns. Upon investigation, i discovered a runestone that said that one of the towns, Pleasantville, had been deleted, something to do with a mine. What did they do?

The other one is Mineville. Does anyone know if it's still active or abandoned?

Most villages have a short natural lifespan. People make the village, grow it for a bit and then quit out of boredom/getting raided.

Well, I walked past it a few days ago. No activity at all. Oh well.

Buyan is not a ghost town. although I can see how it might appear to be that way. Wall sectioons have holes etc. But if you look closely the wall section with holes are near cliffs are are not needed. I dont beleive you can see the inside of buyan from the outer brick wall anyway.
