Russian Prontera -> Constantinople

So I'm trying to walk/boat/swim to Constantinople so I can grab myself a sign. Problem is I don't know exactly where I am (fairly common from what I've been reading). The map the world thread has given me a vague idea, but it's still a big world. After a long time exploring, I've finally come across something of a landmark. From what I can tell, it's the Russian Prontera. Small, active village claim, dead bodies out front. Can anyone give some reasonable directions from here to Constantinople? Even a general direction would help.

Head north-north-east to get to Constantinople. It's quite far away, tho.

Quite far away as in a regional map away, a supergrid away, more than one supergrid? Just fishing for more information, thanks for the directions already, those match the shreds of information I've been able to put together so far. I had guessed that it would be ranging from north to north-east, north-north-east helps narrow it further.

That gives me a general idea of where it's at too. Mirniy's quite a bit South West of Prontera. I came across that town awhile ago and it was quite empty. The mine there was walled in unfortunately. Heard it was a silver mine...

Oh hey, I live right up the river from there. Didn't realize that was the "other" Prontera.

New Dorenzil at the north end of the SG had a crossroads to 'nople, but I don't know if the place is active enough to get a new sign since the CR vandalism.

So what SG does that make this? B5?

I am from New Dorenzil - I haven't been watching the forums lately so I'm not sure of the CR vandalism that you're talking about, but we do have a crossroads leading to Nople, at least last time I checked it was still active. I don't believe that Prontera is in our SG though. We don't have a crossroads to them anymore.

EDIT: I stand corrected. Apparently we no longer have a xroads to Nople active. You can walk there from here "fairly easily" though. I have also confirmed that Prontera is not in the south end of our SG.

Well, by river I can get to Prontera by heading south and to New Dorenzil by heading northeast, so I figured it was all one SG.
