This dude is really so bad it took him three weeks to "siege" a hermit and he says could do it in one

You probably couldn't. Catching someone offline for jUsT oNe DaY involves in-game stalking unless they're bad at the game. Or you know, wait till they stop playing entirely, because people that aren't playing a video game are easy to beat, nice discovery genius.

In my village we wouldn't even call what you did a raid, let alone a siege, we'd call it salvage.

it could be bashable just for a few hours every day but have a longer whole period of drying so it can be noticed

hmmm yes, the same issue. Just now the seiger gets to sleep and plan their attack around their time zones even more, and sieging itself is a longer affair for both parties.

Also gives the defender time to stack archery towers for when it becomes venerable, if you're not staying online to play siege chess.

You really have to try siege chess man. It's important perspective if you're going to speculate about these things.

defender, as the person who has spent a lot of more effort into base building, should have a lot of advantage for this reason

Nope

"The [game mechanic] is hard, so it should be easier for me because I want it."

Please for once think of a valid argument for changes, its cringe seeing all your posts amount to this.
