Imho next reset should, at bare minimum, wait until client rewrite and satiation rebalancing have been done and tested.

That is another thing that would be good to have. When reset happens, devs should aim to amaze people with all the new stuff. Considering how Localized Resources have worked out, it would still be better to roll out the new features during this world and extensively test them. This way both new and returning players alike hopefully meet best possible version of Haven.

Man, it's been so long since I got into this game and I really want to again, but I feel like the world reset is gonna happen like any second now. I don't wanna get into this if my progress risks a reset too quickly. :p

You should stop fearing and just play.
I thought the same that you did, but started playing a month or so ago. And its very nice!

If you care about qualities and stats, you can find a village that has good infrastructure/tools and you can catch up te others with your characters quickly.

There really is no reason for devs to reset the world right now or soon in the fuutre.

Yeah, I decided to just get in while I can and I didn't realize how much the game has change the past few years. For the better, in most aspects! Things still take forever to do but at least it's not AS forever. Where as before I think it would take upward 4-5 hours to build a log cabin I actually did it in like 15 minutes now, which is great!

... still not a fan of the curiosity-system for LP. Kinda miss the old system there. Oh well.

Please don't wipe the world now and wreck my progress! :b

Is this the longest running world?
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I'm pretty ready for a new world. Right now many of the major challenges in progression are meaningless. Abandoned bases are all over the map, supplying you with most of the tools and resources you need. Plus, all the abandoned bases are ugly and make exploration less fun.

Right now it feels like the world is in a "Creative mode" where it doesn't really matter what you do, it's just a place to mess around while waiting for the real game to come back up.

I feel the exact opposite of this.
