I think then you should explain the problem more clearly. Like "Changing broken game mechanics" is not the same like "Balancing the game because these numbers let players abuse it".

I have played Rust a lot, and there are similar things about this game and rust. One of the great things about rust is the constant server wipes. If you had a bad go or have been raided half way through the week, we’ll fuck it start again next week. Now I’m not suggesting weekly wipes, but how ever long it takes to casually reach end game +30% of the time to wipe. For example if it takes 100hrs to reach end game by a normal (not a no lifer) player plus 30hrs to wipe. I believe this will help with player rentention. I have played every wipe sense world 6. I’m sure there are several players that want to play but are discouraged due to the massive gap between new and veteran. There have been times where I come back to the game, only to be one shot by a toon. Some may see there is nothing wrong with that, on the other hand going from 600 to 200 might suggest that there is. This game is ultimately about pvp, if the pvp is restricted to only those that have stuck around sense wipe, well again that’s why the game dilutes down to 200 players.

I dont like the constant wipes in rust. Just when you get something built, there will be a wipe. When the wipe comes closer, no one plays in the server as they know that they will lose everything that they build soon.
HnH is not a game where constant wipes would work. Takes so much time and effort to build cool bases and characters.

I guess there is that element of people who like the more Minecraft aspect of the game and games. Rust also offers up longer lasting servers. I guess the question is who should the devs appeal to more, the RPing crarebears or the pvpers.
