as i said, all offers besides mine don't make any sence for you.
if you give it to me, ill make us both some epic iron saws and smithy hammers [however many i can get from one charcoal]. that will let both of us craft epic things from now on.

i doubt there will be that much left over, however its possible we would be able to make a epic sword with the epic tools.

Rift's offer is highly dubious. How can you know he'll fullfil it? He said himself there would be little material made from that one single coal, he could use it all himself. I'd say you should go with trading it for something concrete, something you dont have to wait for. *We* might be willing to trade chockfulls of iron at once for that piece of coal. It might not be *epic* iron, but its still iron, and in large quantities, something you would be pressed to find yourself.

It's true, Rift's offer requires you to hand over the coal first, which effectively strips you of your trading leverage.

I can pay up front, perhaps 20 bars of cast iron, 10 bars of wrought iron, 2 chests of Deer dogs quality 55-65 and 10 big bear bangers quality 65-75?
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Well, I take back what I said, and replace it with this:
How do we know that that's the actual quality, instead of it being 0, and showing that #.

You wouldn't until you used it.

Which is why I wouldn't sell it, I'd use it myself, and then sell what I made from it. :P

As spectacularly awesome as this is, I have to hope it gets fixed somehow. A smithy hammer made with this thing would completely destroy the game.

Not entirely, because no one could afford the goods made by it until a much later date when everything has scaled up.
