Your prior post was insulting, so you got an insult in response.

(a) other people weren't going to sell bear salami at such a low price either, or
You believe the bear salami is worth more wrought iron than what is being offered
A straw basket of bear salami is 4 bears' worth. I believe that people would rather eat the bear salami themselves than exchange it for 5 wrought iron. I know I would. That's a lot of stat gains and 5 wrought iron, as valuable as it is to me, would not be worth me selling the bear salami. I would be willing to collect and sell a lot of bear salami for a larger amount of wrought iron, however.
theTrav wrote:Trafalgar wrote:(b) If they WERE willing to sell it, I'm still not willing to BUY it for wrought iron.
Wrought Iron is of immense value to you, so you wouldn't sell it for ANY amount of bear salami.
No. There were enough bears around that I saw no reason to pay for them (especially not in something I couldn't make any more of and had to obtain through trade, not that I wouldn't be able to trade for it in other items).
theTrav wrote:Trafalgar wrote:I had plentiful access to bears, and wrought iron was far more precious to me than bears.
Bears are cheap as hell and not worth much wrought at all...
The stat gain they give is far faster than any other food. That said, you may find the amount of bears decreasing, especially the number around villages...
theTrav wrote:Trafalgar wrote:Why on earth would I sell bear salami for something I consider extremely precious?
ummm... you don't sell stuff that's worthless to you to obtain things that are highly valuable to you
Both of them are things I wouldn't want to sell (unless paid a ridiculous amount).
theTrav wrote:Trafalgar wrote:I cannot produce wrought iron.
The ONLY way you can obtain this good (ignoring stealing) is to trade for it.
Obviously.
theTrav wrote:From the lack of paragraphing in your many statements I'd guess that you're feeling a bit angry and typing before you've thought all this through.
Not particularly angry, no. Perhaps a little annoyed.

You have no business in this thread.
Why are you here? You haven't posted any trade offer or anything.
Edit: Oh, nice timing.
