S: Forest Maintenance; B: Sub"urban" Real Estate

Postby Erik_the_Blue » Wed Aug 05, 2009 8:59 am

With the map reset coming, I'm looking to try out the village lifestyle to see if I enjoy it more than that of an independent homesteader. I would like to be allowed to build and operate a small(ish) personal claim in the proximity of an established village. I only seek the potential trade relations, protection, and other social benefits that would come from this, so I shouldn't need access to the village proper. In exchange, I'll make and maintain a large(ish) public forest* for the purpose of providing lumber and game. I'm also willing to participate in any other communal labor activities if need be.

To be clear, I'm doing this on a trial basis. Whether or not I want to stay connected to the village after the reset depends on how much I enjoy the lifestyle.

*In order to grow the forest effectively, I'll need a site in close proximity to a well and clay pit.

You're welcome to settle near Bottleneck. In fact, we have a cabin available, but it's not next to a clay pit (there is one some 5-6 screens away).
