[S] Minting contract

Postby theTrav » Fri Sep 25, 2009 2:54 am

The City of Brodgar would like to publicly tender the contract to produce coins for use in commerce.

The desired rate of trade is no less than 1 bar granted per 90 coins refunded.
Trades must occur in bulk, in a timely manner and at the convenience of the city.

In the case of multiple applicants, ratio, convenience, and political considerations will all be considered in determining our preferred coin vendor.

Thank you for your time.

I suppose CI could do this service for you - I will PM you the metal quality specifications of a potential coinpress.

4 vendors have entered bids for the contract, please PM me specifics on metal exchange rates and terms of trade.

I wish to know the following:

1 - The quality of your coinpress (metal quality in -> coin quality out are the numbers i'm looking for)
2 - For ALL metals, I wish to know:
* If you stock it
* If you will exchange it
* how many copper coins you will take in exchange for a coin in the other metal.
NOTE: I expect you to be willing to sell me copper coins for that metal as well else there is no exchange rate, only a sale which is less preferable to TCoB, even if terms are better
3 - If you are capable of delivering or require pickup
4 - What settlement (if any) you represent
5 - who your in game representatives are
6 - what their playing times and time zones are.

small transactions are already taking place with some vendors, and will continue to do so, following the tendor process will ensure your settlement is looked upon more favourably than rogue traders who spurn process.

Please not that this is not an exclusive contract and there is NO INTENTION to make it so. The City of Brodgar is against vendor lock in
