(This Post is work in progress. There are things that arent clear yet, therefore it would be wise to avoid confusion and delay by checking this post from time to time, it might get edited heavily)
World 15 is coming to an end. It is evident that the new World 16 is anticipated. But lets not forget the Fun we had in this World too! So it is only proper to end this World with a proper Celebration!
The tl;dr
What? A Festival with food Events and general jolly socializing.
When? Planned is the Sunday next week, the 27th of October 2024. (European timezones) Further infos on Scedule section
Who? Everyone is invited to come
Where? It will be at my Village, it has the name Aphrodisias (Greek letters) and the Charter name is “Anvil". See Location section for more information.
What Events? Planned is a Wagon Race Ben Hur Style! The horses and wagons are provided! Also if there are sufficient participants, there will be a PVP-Event and Shoeball! For rules read further on the Chapter Events on this post.
The Feast proper
It is planned that we have a foodtruck where people can get food, pipe-stuff (hopefully) and beverages. It costs a special currency that we (hopefully) have in sufficient quantities. You don’t need anything to trade for it tho, there will be a gamified opportunity to get some. And if someone still doesn’t get any food and drink we of course provide it for free too.
Events
Wagon Race
A simple racetrack where up to 5 Wagon-racers compete against each other in
Multiple Rounds!
Shoeball!
If people are interested, we provide a Field to play the old Community Fair Classic Shoeball! For those who are uninitiated, the leather ball curio can be used as a football (or soccer-ball for our post-atlantik folks).
PVP-Event
IF people are interested in a PVP Event there are certain requirements. The Public demands blood! Therefore the one, and only requirement to participate is that the character is enabling the “murderous Rage”(unlocked by getting the murder skill) debuff to their Character (shortly before the PVP or even before, tho then I cant guarantee you don’t get attacked, you got to enter from outside to avoid visitor debuff. The area is visible tho and I will do what I can to make sure there is PVP in the agreed parameters). The format will be, depending on the number of participants (and mood of the crowd), be a 1vs1, 2vs2 or even a free for all. There is one catch tho.
The rules are open to be changed on well intentioned suggestions. In any case, whatever the rule-set we would advise you to not bring a char to the PVP-Event that you are overly attached to. It is the End of the World soon, but I can understand if some people are reluctant to let the World end on the Edge of a B12
Rewards
Isnt the glory of winning the Event enough? Well maybe, maybe not. But to be honest we haven't thought about any up to this point. This may change, tho maybe there might be the chance to impress a generous donor… (No seriously, its just for fun, don’t be disappointed if there arent any, if we change our opinion or someone has a hat or a token they want to throw in the ring I will edit this post.
Concerning the location...
There are some people who unfortunatly had trouble reaching the “Anvil” charter the last time we had an event there.
Donations
If you find it in your heart to donate some pipestuff opium or even food to the party it would be highly apreciated!
I am currently making steel to make some hookahs, but of course the INSANE and EXTREME FUN that I have with timing this VERY GOOD mechanic, It would be wise to bring a hookah yourself. If you do, remember that there is both a Pclaim and a Village claim! So better make a Bill of posession for any movable object you want or don’t want to share (even tho I thing it should work without one, I don’t know, hey sorry guys, Hermit at work XD)!
Security
If I don’t get sieged out of my pants (GRRR) till sunday there are multiple palisades around my base, everything should be safe. There are some people who have permissions there that enjoy my trust, if anyone doesn’t behave they have the right and privilege to enforce quick justice if someone is fooling arround (@those who know, this explicitly doesn’t include not joining a discord VC).
If anyone has concerns they are free to visit me via the charter to take a look arround. I myself am always up for PVP, but the PVP isnt up for me, so I am not really capable of defending you if you go outside the palisade, of course troublemakers can always be evicted.

Scedule
Festival Schedule (October 27th, 2024, in CET)
19:00 (CET) – Event begins: Food-Truck Event
19:30 - 19:45 – Wagon Race (Ben Hur Style)
19:45 - 20:15 – Eating Break or Shoeball (if people are interested)
20:15 - 20:45 – PVP Event (format will depend on the number of participants)
20:45 - 21:00 – Event closing: Open ended: We chill for aslong we want!
If an Event doesnt happen due to people not beeing interested in it, the scedule moves forward
