I mean, I understand this line of reasoning and find it reasonable.
But I think it could be reframed as a US Citizen going to France, doing something wrong in France, so the French government launches nukes at NY.
That's obviously hyperbolic, but I literally *can't* be the world police. I would love it if we, as a community, agreed to stop ganking newbs and making sport out of taking their nettles.

But as Bob Dole said, we don't have a rule where we stop that everywhere. We try to carve out a safe place for new players, where they can learn and enjoy the game and LARP and have wholesome fun. That is *so fucking difficult* in this game, the only way I could appeal to PvPers like Noinek is by allowing ganking elsewhere. If we didn't do that, it'd be Me, Bob, Earthinfusion, and.... maybe like a tiny handful of others even willing to fight. These guys are like rare gems.

Against that we've got to contend against neet autists like Snail and his 4channers who would love nothing less than to tear down anything and everything that isn't in their circle jerk club.

Just like the US/UK/France/Canada/Etc allied with Russia in WW2 to take down the Axis, I'd gladly work with people I don't agree with who are willing to work towards that end as well.

I'm actually not going to say what moral high ground any of this stands on. We all need to do what we need to do to keep our friends and people happy. Your group has a portion that likes to stab and pillage, so does mine. Your group has a bunch of care bears, so does mine. I've been both, and enjoy both.
Balancing both sides leads you to the risk of being hypocritical. Ardennes can probably roast me on that a bit.
I just don't like people betraying me. I can't keep this conversation going. Regardless of Solis's current ailments, he has lost all of my respect for betraying me. That is my right as his ex-friend. It's also my right to call him out for that in an open forum when he keeps poking the proverbial hornet's nest with my name attached to it. You're welcome to have him, and you can claim he didn't "share" anything, but by this point he's openly admitted to both that and trying to join other factions and assisting other factions with confidential information. So what's done is done. I've officially made my peace. He can reopen the wound if he so desires.

None of these people were allied with us prior to the siege.
We literally were just newbs sitting there LARPing, fighting off Snail (easily) and Felix (badly) until you guys formed your mega-blob to siege us.
Prior to that I had never even spoken to Orca, Spitsbergen and I had only fought, I had never even seen anyone from Trollex's group or Polska ingame outside of our market or Trollex's market.

The fact that you cry about it now makes it all the sillier. I have learned to really appreciate those that came to our aid. This all has made us better PvPers as well, and I got the satisfaction of winning. So all in all, it worked out. Thanks for the good experience, Zaked.

I just simply want to be a better person in the end, the way to change is to admit my sins/mistakes, accepting the consequences and then change to not repeat it, even in a game.
Throughout playing, I battle myself to see what is truly evil and what is not and then having fun with double agent thingy.

I didn't get any useful info from WB to share with the war gang, and I didn't leak shit important enough to change the course of war.

Robben speaks the truth, again there's nothing too big that I leaked. I was also looking to gain WB's trust so if I get info it could benefit the war gang, because at times when satan tempted me I do feel like wanting to win the WAR. And I kinda idolize Snail for his infamy.

I only warned Orca about possible impending siege but to be honest she already know and also didn't need that info she knows stuffs and is smart. This is also me trying to be on her good side because she is a big haven player (I will explain why I'm trying to be on the good side of many powerful players)

You don't have to believe me or all this and feel free to judge and hate me I accept.

The reason I'm doing double agent and silly politics in the last months of playing haven is because I wanted Oppidia to become more 'good' and get rid of the connections with evil people like Snail and the gang, we have lost good person like Azma and people are quitting Oppidie too. So I tried to appeal to many other groups that can possibly ally with us so we don't depend too much on Snail gang.

I feel Austin is a great leader if only he chooose better haven 'game' friends but I realized that's outside my control, everyone can have fun in any way they want in a game.

But in the end I feel the sieger of WB 'aka' Snail gang is the one who is more evil and deserve to lose and have a rat inside the group and I'll be that rat any day.

All in all I enjoyed being evil in game bullying spruces, fooling people, having power, etc. but then the toxicity from snail gang that I listen from their inner chat and VC and their actions like paving evil symbols on WB made me change my mind and here we are.
